Launched in 2021, Noor Riyadh is a project under Riyadh Art.

The Noor Riyadh 2021 program included: a number of selected public art installations across Riyadh city; many light and video installations and a landmark exhibition of light art; and a diverse program of talks, workshops, and events.

Giorgio Devecchi’s Role in the Project 

Giorgio Devecchi’s projection design and content workflows contribution to this project was crucial for the delivery of the 3 installations: the National Library 3D mapping, the Masmak Castle 3D mapping, and the suggestive Muhannad Shono’s video art installation in JAX.

Giorgio Devecchi took care of the projection design for every location and managed the content workflow to align the concept to the technical feasibility.

The project was commissioned by the Riyadh Art authority of Saudi Arabia and delivered by the production agency Balich in collaboration with Creative Technology.
